Thanks, yes, I posted yesterday, I uninstalled it and the font problem disappeared. But as it says, KB301455 is listed under important security updates, so I was assuming you should install it, but when will we know it's fixed so we can get the security update without destroying the fonts. I'll check back on your link every few days. I remain suspicious of Microsoft's intentions or competence when a security update destroys something as simple as fonts.
