[fiber]

<<<Fiber optics cable is being aggressively pursued in urban areas.
Qwst is contracted to run fiber along railways across the nation.
Clues 2 & 3. I'm sure Engibeous and crew are aware and must consider this networking solution. If not, he needs to spend less time on his boat and more on the highways!>>>

Larry --

Tom's no dummy, that's for certain. Take a look at Amati's position in VDSL. To install you need fiber to the curb. From there it's copper.

Most agree VDSL is the bigger market. That's why I'm putting money into companies like ANIC --- who do all kinds of wire, cable, fiber, gadgets, no matter who they're for: cable, wireless, copper. The Anixter Brothers cover the waterfront.

And, yes, cable will be a stiff competitor to copper. Just don't know how Tom's going to play that one. Maybe you can fill me in.

Regards,

Pat
