I find it very interesting that with the HD sector taking such a beating along with many tech's, that IOM will be splitting 2:1 very soon! I have a feeling that this split might some how renew a little life into this stock as well as rest of sector! It might sound foolish, but I have seen it happen before. This sector is ripe for a rebound IMO. Long term I'm not certain on how things will turn out, but I think their will be some short term money to be made in this sector soon. I am very interested in IOM around the time of split. What are some thoughts from the veterans on this thread?

Dave, Re: low volume today

Dave,

I can't give you any help on this one. I am baffled by the complete lack of interest in the stock.

However, Trufflette (the veteran) tells me that she's been through this before with Iomega and to have patience.

Also, she says that today's decline on very low volume is actually bullish!!!

And, she's the (wo)man.

The only thing that concerns me is some exogenous force (Asia, 3Com missing by a lot) that would give the shorts the opportunity to temporarily knock it down below support.

We'll see.
