bloomberg.com

Korean won trading at 1,618 to the dollar, weakening by 212 won, or 15%.
All other SE asian currencies weakening moderately as of 2:05am.

I wish someone would tell the the S. Koreans that the best way to help their country is to HOARD AS MUCH FOREIGH HARD CURRENCY AS POSSIBLE--and IGNORE the politicians' plea of "donating" the hard currency to a endless money pit. I can not think of a more patriotic thing to do than to preserve their capital in hard currency from politicians and inept bureaucrats.

Those privately hoarded hard currency would be needed to (finally) fund the next generation of entrepreneurs seeking capital after the collapse of the mutant chaebols.
