Bob, I could swear I saw something with the 12/24 date on it, and it was re: Canadian tax loss selling. In any event at least the VSE index has started to inch back up. I only may have time for one day at the Westergaard show anyway. As it is I am pushing it since that is my busy time of year. Look forward to finally meeting you in any event! BTW, if anyone else is nearby NYC and is interested in going to the Strain/Westergaard O&G Microcap Conference, contact John Westergaard at his web site, westergaard.com and somewhere in there he talks about his conferences. They are primarily open to brokers and analysts, but also to "venture investors", which is apparently an acronym for folks (such as I) that are stupid enough to have a large stock portfolio. So if you don't have megabucks in the market all you gotta do is get your broker to lie about how big an investor you are and you can get in. There is no charge.
