John - are we looking at the same stock?? according to my quote cy did not drop today but went up 1/4 ! what are you talking about? after market or something else

For what it's worth, I believe you will see a nice upward move in CY's stock price in January. Those that want out for tax loss reasons will be out, and the players will be moving in. Why? The answer is contained in the press release:

"They believe that the product realignment and restructuring they have outlined in this release, even in light of the current mixed-market scenario, will lead to sequential revenue and earnings growth in the first and subsequent quarters of 1998."

Q1 1998 should be a good quarter for CY. This will move the price up. I think the stock buy back may help, too, but I really think the move up will come pretty fast as momentum investors enter the picture. All of this IMHO, of course. Signed, Glutton.
