Reminds me of the old "Athens/Sparta" tales. We are Athens, smart and powerful, with donkeys for leaders. The Muslims are Sparta and weak, with donkeys for leaders also. But they have high morale due to their Religious POV.

That is why I am so upset to see our leadership denigrate our Military Chaplains. The guys need to take everything they can into battle that they want and morale is a key factor. Even an old Secularist like me understands that!

"There's been a lot of reactions in the local media to this act of terrorism. Finally it appears that people are starting to wake up to the threat levied against jews and others. Not a moment too soon."

"One paragraph from an editorial in the Swedish newspaper Expressen caught my eye in particular, blunt and to the point."

"In translation by yours truly:"

Quote:
Some would claim that artists and others who pen works which provokes islamic extremists - by committing "blasphemy" - to some extent have themselves to blame. In other words; if only we accept the lines drawn by fanatics everyone can live in peace and safety.
But what are jews supposed to do in order to not provoke jihadists and antisemites? Stop being jews? Cease to exist?
In the struggle between democracy and tolerance on the one hand, and theocracy and intolerance on the other there exist no room whatsoever for compromise.
