At AmBase's annual meeting two weeks ago in Old Greenwich the Chairman expressed a very high level of confidence in winning the goodwill suit. He said that the Fresh Start tax case is probably lost and has no guess on the other tax case which has been with the tax court waiting for an opinion since last August. I heard from a DC source that one of the other goodwill cases that had been sent to alternative dispute resolution (adr) mediation had been settled for half of what the suit had asked. Does anyone on SI know or care anything on this subject?
