Ted,
We can't win. Were you not watching when Bush was in Iraq and Afghanistan?
We defeated Al Qaeda, culminating in the assassination of Osama bin Laden.

We can defeat ISIS as well. All it takes is leadership.

The problem is that liberals are too scared of another Iraq, another Vietnam, another quagmire, to even think about achieving victory over these assholes.

I think the right wingnuts aren't understanding that ISIS isn't a country, nor is it an organized group of Islamics that can be isolated and destroyed, it's an IDEA.

It's the idea that is selling in every despotic Arab country with young males with absolutely no future. AQ's idea was, wear this suicide belt and get 80 virgins in Heaven. ISIS's idea is, we'll pay you more than you've ever made at any job you've ever had, you get to kill infidels and work out your anger, AND you can get in on the ground floor of the new Caliphate.

Which one would you buy? What can WE sell them that is better?
