Hi Troy,

You may be right about the Santa rally...people try to anticipate the Jan rally....move ahead into Dec to be first ect. Now they may have out foxed themselves (or not).

As I said via email, I am concerned about SE asia exporting a coming depression or severe recession. Japan is fooling itself that the small tax cut will kick start an economy that has been in an 8 year recession. Korea is a basket case...the 50 billion is just the tip of the iceburg in my opinion...remember the s&l crisis? The early numbers were far and away exceeded by reality. I am rambling but...I looked at the stock markets for the 20's and 30's. Not all countrys had crashes / depressions at the same time. It rolled around the globe. I am not trying to be the voice of gloom. I don't pretend to know what the future is...I just think that a defensive posture here is prudent. Now if I could only get myself to take my own advice <grin>

I would feel better if I didn't think our market was so over valued...but I never know where the top or bottom is. Have a good evening.

Steve
