There are plenty of businesses going bankrupt or went bankrupt due to excessive executive pay and a lot more than 170,000 . Also by executives looting and lying about the "numbers" so don't talk to me about dock workers and auto assembly line workers please....and seniority does mean something as it should...and that's also in most contracts...otherwise you get kicked to the curb when you get old or your pay gets high like what happens in the non union jobs.

By the way the dockworkers make a measly 26 to 41 dollars an hour.....you try busting ur azz for that....I bet you make a lot more for doing squat all day or working for daddy!

RMF, l've never been IN a union, and don't like a lot of things about them, but you have to admit, they are the ONLY organized force that works FOR workers getting their fair share of the pie and benefits. The government used to, but that was when unions themselves were much stronger. Only 7% of American workers are in unions today.
