WOW! What an informative post Murrey. I will be showing it to my other 1/2 and I'm sure we'll be exploring the options you mentioned. Hadn't thought of, and didn't realize you could run two gens simultaneously? Thank you!

*To remedy, many buy two Hondas (they can be rigged to run in parallel) and gives you more juice than you need for anything.* We still have that setup and have had it for at least 10 years. Only difference is instead of Honda, I have 2 Yamaha gensets, 2 KW each. There is a simple wiring harness that connects both for 2x the power when needed. Never had a problem with it, but very seldom used both. Usually a fan is enough for us. When we sold the last camper, we kept both as back up to our house genet. Expecting 1 degree temp here later today. Then it goes lower.
