More on the acquisition front:

All of this talk about LU notwithstanding, it is inconceivable to me that CPQ, having publicly stated a desire to become "dominant" in RAS/RAC, would not at least have had a chat with ASND, a company that Alan Lutz himself identified as the other dominant player (along with COMS).

Likewise, it is inconceivable to me that CPQ, having publicly stated a desire to enter the telco market down the road, would not at least have thought about the CSCC portion of ASND's business.

Therefore, without any reference to anything other than Alan Lutz's VARBusiness interview on 11/15, I strongly believe that CPQ remains a top ASND suitor.
