Skeeter, (OFF)

I heard a story about a transcript from a court case out East. Some lawyer was questioning a doctor about an autopsy he had performed. The line of questioning went something like:

Lawyer: Are you absolutely sure the patient was dead before you performed the autospy?

Doctor: Yes

Lawyer: How did you know? Did you take his pulse?

Doctor: NO.

Lawyer: Did you take his blood pressure?

Doctor: No.

Lawyer: Then how could you be so sure he was dead?

Doctor: Because his brain was in a jar on my desk.

Lawyer: But is there any way he could have still been alive?

Doctor: No.

Lawyer: Are you absolutely sure there is no way he could have been alive?

Doctor: Well, maybe he could have been practicing law somewhere.

True story.
