That is quite a statement. It is difficult to believe that you believe that without being anti-Semitic yourself.

I may have misunderstood your statement. You could have meant it as a matter of fact, like There will always be poor people or there will always be blue eyed blonds. In which case it is true but doesn't say much.

I read more into it, maybe more than you meant. I thought the part you left off that you were thinking was..."because they deserve it", which is obviously racist.

Is your statement true if you replace semitism with "blacks" or "Americans" ?
