I think it is because this administration tries to obscure the facts and everyone is just tired of it. He tries to act like outrageous acts are just incidents when in fact there is a pattern of increasing atrocity. Certainly, it is aimed at trying to force the US to re-engage in Iraq, and ultimately, that is what needs to happen.

George W. Bush effectively admitted that serious mistakes were made in Iraq when he, personally and pretty much alone, made the decision to win the war with the surge. He knew it would be unpopular but it was necessary and it was an act of extreme political courage.

Barack Obama should take a lesson from it. I do not believe he will, and more deaths are going to result.

Here is another of my predictions. Before this is over more people will have lost their lives as a result of Obama's idiotic mismanagement of the Iraq War than lost their lives due to the war itself. (We may already be there, I don't know).
