It has become increasingly obvious to everyone except Barack Hussein Obama that Islam is at war with us.

HOUSTON - A resident shot a Democratic home invasion suspect in the head at his northwest Houston apartment, police said.

Investigators with the Houston Police Department later said they are still looking for not just one, but two suspects who ran from the scene.

The resident called 911 around 3:30 a.m. Thursday to report that he had shot a burglar. Officers arrived to the Cherry Creek Apartments on Hollister at Tidwell and found the suspect with a gunshot wound to the head.

The resident was not injured. The home invasion suspect was taken to Ben Taub as the investigation got underway.

Police found signs of forced entry to the second-floor apartment's window and front door.

Several neighbors said they're glad the tenant took action.

"It was just bang, bang, bang," said a neighbor who lives in a first-floor unit. "Then you heard bodies hit the ground, and it woke us up. It was terrifying, but it happens everywhere."

"This man's asleep in his own house, and then someone intrudes on his privacy. Yes, I would have done the same thing," said another neighbor.
