The whole top of the urbee folds up and forward. I think its pretty easy to get in and out. It does ride low to the ground.


It probably wouldn't be very hard to lower that threshold. Definitely a design consideration. I'm in the tile shower business. I've advised customers against high thresholds. Its a sales consideration down the road. Among high end clients showers without thresholds are the rage... and always done incorrectly.

Oh and by the way it already is street legal. Its a hybrid not an electric. I'm not sure if they already did or are going to try to drive across the entire US on 10 gallons of gas.

I'm not sure the current model is feasable. What I am impressed about is the exterior is an extremely thoughtful design. They really nailed it, whereas the only other car I think is smartly designed is the Tesla, and they make a lot of dumb mistakes IMHO.

There is room for Apple to rethink a basic electric car.
