Jack, the top officers of MCCI are long since gone. Integrated services (local, ld, plus data and virtual intranets) are what the service providers (AT&T, Worldcom, and RBOCs) are gunning for. WCII believes that they may have found a way into the main event (through a back alley door left ajar) w/o having to buy a ticket at full price. In this regard they're following the lead of Worldcom, which has already shown that if you want an empire you don't have to "build it yourself". It IS the management, as you've said, and this is one of those times that I'll defer, at least temporarily, to the competency that Winstar's management has shown in getting us this far. They've proven that they can climb hills, but yes those are mountains straight ahead.

This is a proven strategy and IMHO it will work and work well. Another whole slew of customers and good employee team that will now have all the infrastructure they need.

Well done Bill and tthe whole team. Just wait for a year till we see those customers revenues seemlesly incorporated into the WCII revenues and earnings. Every well served wireless customer is someone rthat will stay with the supplier for much longer than it would stay with a wireleine supplier. i.e thats another bunch of customers that TGNT won't get.
