Changing the subject, I see.

That's OK, I can understand why. It is true that some crops have increased yield due to higher levels of CO2. But some experience a decrease.

For the ones that experience an increase in yield, many are less nutritious.

And none of this takes into account that the subsequent climate changes means that droughts will be more common and, crucially, those droughts will affect the areas where the most crops are grown in North America.

Again, you just can't cherry pick the.science. You have exposed nothing but your own ignorance.

More CO2 everywhere means less water is needed everywhere. In all places where there is more CO2 plants will grow more with whatever water is there. The why of it changes nothing in the global effect. The why of how CO2 effects plant development to more efficiently use H20 show the fact that CO2 gates biomass growth.

In photosynthesis one molecule of CO2 reacts with one molecule of water according to the equation:

The overall chemical reaction involved in photosynthesis is:
6CO2 + 6H2O (+ light energy) ? C6H12O6 + 6O2.

Thus no matter how much CO2 is available, it can only react to completion if there are equal parts of water.....but remember the reaction requires light energy to happen... So excess CO2 alone does not cause more growth as you state.
