The most obvious is the president’s repeated insistence that militant Islam is utterly disconnected from the Islamic faith. As this much-discussed essay in the Atlantic points out: Many mainstream Muslim organizations have gone so far as to say the Islamic State is, in fact, un-Islamic. It is, of course, reassuring to know that the vast majority of Muslims have zero interest in replacing Hollywood movies with public executions as evening entertainment. But Muslims who call the Islamic State un-Islamic are typically, as the Princeton scholar Bernard Haykel, the leading expert on the group’s theology, told me, “embarrassed and politically correct, with a cotton-candy view of their own religion” that neglects “what their religion has historically and legally required.” Many denials of the Islamic State’s religious nature, he said, are rooted in an “interfaith-Christian-nonsense tradition.” The author, Graeme Wood, adds this: According to Haykel, the ranks of the Islamic State are deeply infused with religious vigor. Koranic quotations are ubiquitous. “Even the foot soldiers spout this stuff constantly,” Haykel said. “They mug for their cameras and repeat their basic doctrines in formulaic fashion, and they do it all the time.” He regards the claim that the Islamic State has distorted the texts of Islam as preposterous, sustainable only through willful ignorance. “People want to absolve Islam,” he said. “It’s this ‘Islam is a religion of peace’ mantra. As if there is such a thing as ‘Islam’! It’s what Muslims do, and how they interpret their texts.” Those texts are shared by all Sunni Muslims, not just the Islamic State. “And these guys have just as much legitimacy as anyone else.” President Obama continues to insist the opposite, pretending that what is true is false, and even suggesting those who are speaking the truth are actually endangering the lives of innocent people. This makes Mr. Obama’s comments offensive as well as ignorant. But that hardly exhausts the examples of false narratives employed by the president. As this exchange between Fox’s Ed Henry and White House press secretary Josh Earnest demonstrates, in its statement the White House avoided saying that the 21 Egyptian Christians who were beheaded by members of ISIS were Christian, even though that was the reason they were beheaded. At the same time the president suggested that the murder of three Muslim students at the University of North Carolina was because they were Muslim, when in fact that wasn’t by any means clear when the White House issued its statement. (The shooting appears to have involved a long-standing dispute over parking.) So when Christian faith is a factor in a massacre, it’s denied, and when there’s no evidence that the Islamic faith was a factor in a killing, it’s nevertheless asserted. And then there was the shooting in Ferguson, Missouri, in which the president and his attorney general constantly spoke about the shooting of Michael Brown by Officer Darren Wilson as if race was a factor in the shooting. That assertion is fiction. It was an invention, just as it was an invention to suggest, as the president did back in 2009, that the arrest of Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. by Cambridge Police Sgt. James Crowley was racially motivated. Here, then, are three separate examples of the president imposing a false narrative on events. (I could cite many others.) Which makes Mr. Obama a truly post-modern president, in which there is no objective truth but simply narrative. Mr. Obama doesn’t just distort the facts; he inverts them. He makes things up as he goes along. This kind of thing isn’t unusual to find in the academy. But to see a president and his aides so thoroughly deconstruct truth is quite rare, and evidence of a stunningly rigid and dogmatic mind. The sheer audacity of Mr. Obama’s multipronged assault on truth is one of the more troubling aspects of his deeply troubling president.

Whatever changes our climate is undergoing are part and parcel of the natural processes that have been going on since the Earth was formed. All the massaged, manhandled, and manufactured data in the world won’t change the simple fact that this is a naked grab for money and power by a liberal elite so concerned about carbon they choose to dump gazillions of pounds of it into the air jetting off to party with their denier denying pals. Forty years ago we were going into an ice age, and the solution was to give more power and money to liberal elites. Ten years ago, we were a decade away from the Arctic ice cap melting and the polar bears being parboiled, and the solution was to give more power and money to liberal elites. I don’t even want to guess what the next lie is going to be about the perpetual crisis around the corner, but I know to an absolute certainty that the solution is going to be giving more power and money to liberal elites. Liberals, stop lying about our war with radical Muslims. This bloodshed isn’t “random.” This isn’t about “violent extremism.” Mass enslavement, mutilation and murder isn’t “workplace violence,” and these semi-human freaks aren’t going to stop if someone hands them a mop, bucket and paycheck. We are at war – war – with radical Islam, and we need to end the lies, the equivocation and dissembling and speak the truth. Our enemies think they are Muslims, and they think the Koran commands their actions. This isn’t about theology – whether their version of Islam is a misunderstanding or misinterpretation is utterly irrelevant. They think they’re pious Muslims even if we, as well as most of the world’s Muslims, disagree. Liberals babble about how we Americans don’t understand other cultures, but when understanding other cultures becomes inconvenient to their progressive ideology, liberals cease trying to understand and mask the inconvenient truth by applying their own prejudices and preconceptions. That’s what they’ve done to the jihadis. These guys aren’t upset about the 1% not paying them a living wage; they’re upset about the other 99% living at all. Well, here’s a conservative who says it’s critical to understand the radical Muslims. We need to fully appreciate how they think, their goals, their ideas, their feelings. Understanding them will help us more effectively hunt down and kill them. Liberals, stop lying about sexual assault. We need to teach liberals not to rape. Where’s the study showing the political affiliation of the majority of incarcerated sex criminals? You know there isn’t one that finds it’s “Republican” because if there was, we’d have seen Brian Williams yapping about it between stories about how he raised the flag at Iwo Jima. And no, there is no “rape culture.” That’s a lie liberal feminists constructed to solidify their politically-useful victim status and to indict their political opponents without the inconvenience and hassle of actually offering facts and evidence in support of their positions. Like the big lie that both frigid cold and burning heat conclusively prove global warming, the existence of an all-encompassing rape culture is demonstrated both by the agreement that it exists and the denial that it exists. No wonder liberals hate due process – they can’t afford a search for the truth because the risk is too great that someone might find it. Liberals, stop lying about illegal aliens. They aren’t all hardworking and they aren’t all here because they love America and have dreams and stuff. Some are criminals. Some are bums. None were invited. Their problems are a result of their choices. We owe them nothing. Want out of the shadows? Go home. Liberals, stop lying about race. There’s a word for people who do as liberals do and assess an individual’s every action, opinion and idea based upon where the subject individual’s great-grandfather came from. That word is “racist.” Here’s some truth: The only mainstream ideology within the American political spectrum that is in any coherent sense racist is liberalism. Liberals, stop lying about welfare. We all know that your place in life is the result of your good and bad choices. The poor aren’t poor because the Koch brothers went and made them drop out of high school and focus on bong hits instead of calculus. Liberals, stop lying about taxes. People like us who actually contribute to society by working aren’t bad or greedy because we get mad at our money being taken to subsidize freeloaders. We’re normal. Liberals, stop lying about Obamacare. That would mean you can never speak of it again. Liberals, stop lying about Christians and Jews. Our country was built upon a Judeo-Christian foundation, and without it America would just be another festering boil of hideous pathologies like the majority of this planet. There’s no secret cabal of cross and star-clinging theocrats out there just waiting to ruin the liberal’s party – America is not about to be Footloosed even in the off chance it was to elect a Mike Huckabee. Hell, the only people interested in getting into Americans’ bedrooms are the liberal feminists who want to crawl through the window with a notary to ensure there’s proper documentation of the horny co-ed’s consent to let her beau ‘round second base. Barack Obama. Hillary Clinton. Lena Dunham. Jon Gruber. That woman with the glasses who thinks we should carpet bomb ISIS with want ads. All liberals. All liars. Somali Migrants in Minnesota are a Terror Threat to the Mall of America .............................................................................................. Minnesota has its own Little Mogadishu which, aside from the usual welfare fraud and crime, also hosts supporters of Al-Shabaab. Even as President Obama launched air strikes Tuesday against the al-Shabab terrorist group in Somalia, a pipeline for potential new Somali terrorists continues to fester right here in the United States. It’s called the Refugee Resettlement Program, and it continues unabated under the leadership of the U.S. State Department and with the help of several Christian charities. Minneapolis, Minnesota, sits at the heart of the controversial program. Known as “Little Mogadishu” to some critics, the city has since 1983 welcomed thousands of Somali refugees, most of whom are practicing Muslims and attend a local mosque or Islamic center. Since 2007, at least 22 young Somali refugees have left Minnesota to join al-Shabab in their homeland. Some have died there, and some were even praised as “Minnesota martyrs” in an al-Shabab video released last year. And many more have been tried and convicted of providing money or material support to overseas Muslim terrorist organizations. Among them was one Somali woman from Minnesota who refused to rise when called upon by the judge, citing a verse in the Quran. “I’ll not stand for anyone except for Allah,” Amina Farah Ali told the federal judge. In 2009, a Somali man who left Minneapolis joined al-Shabab and blew himself up in a suicide bombing at an Ethiopian consulate in Somalia, killing 24 people. He was one of three Somali Americans to carry out a suicide attack. Al-Shabab also claimed three Americans were involved in the September 2013 attack on the Westgate Mall in Nairobi, Kenya, a claim that law enforcement officials have been unable to verify. “We actually brought his body parts back here and buried him because he was a refugee who became a U.S. citizen,” Corcoran said of the 2009 suicide bomber. “We gave him a proper Muslim burial in Minneapolis after he had blown people up and taken so many people with him. That’s the height of political correctness.” The local Fox affiliate in Minneapolis, KMSP-TV, reported in August 2013 that al-Shabab made a terror recruitment video targeting Somali men in Minnesota. The video had been posted to YouTube and called “The Path to Paradise.” It focused on the journey of three men who left Minnesota to die in Somalia. The number is currently up to 50. They’ve even managed to convert and recruit Americans to Islam and its Jihad. An American named Douglas MacArthur McCain died in Syria fighting for ISIS, the acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, which has taken over parts of Iraq and Syria. He was from Minnesota – where he and other Americans were recruited. The Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis is sometimes called “Little Mogadishu.” It’s center of the nation’s largest concentration of Somalis, and fertile ground for Islamic terrorist groups recruiting new fighters. McCain grew up just a 15-minute drive from here. Now the terror group is hoping to mobilize Somali Muslim settlers in the US and anyone they convert to commit acts of terrorism here. The Mall of America is a target only because of the large Somali population in the state. If the US continues importing more Somalis, it will only be importing more Islamic terror threats. The media refuses to talk about why the Mall of America is a target. We need to talk about it before it’s too late.
