Those infamous 3 contracts were first mentioned in a quarterly earnings conference call a few quarters ago.

Well, on the plus side of this mess the xDSL market is still undeveloped. Bell Atlantic/NyNEX is still open, and this is a company to watch. The subscriber base and population density make this territory ideal for xDSL. If Bell Atlantic goes to someone other than WSTL... well then WSTL will be a second string player.

Right now though, while we're all quite upset at the stock action, remember - it is December. Strange things happen because individuals may buy/sell with an eye on individual tax situations, not on company prospects. Institutions and funds are more concerned with year-end window dressing than with company's prospects.

Let's wait until the middle of January and see what happens.
