I take a daily dose of 8000 iu of D3 right now, and have for years. I didn't think to increase the dose even though I've heard about the potential benefits of that. I'm now about a week into this cold. Yesterday I took one antihistamine which went to work in a couple hours and stopped my dripping nose. That lasted all day and night. So far this morning I'm breathing alright and without the running nose. I may have worked through the worst of it. I've gone for years without a cold, until last October. That one lasted a full 3 weeks and matched the duration that everyone I knew complained of. Now, just some 4 months later, to come down with a new cold is hard for me to believe. No flu shot here, could that be connected?
