Looks like we have some positive early action this A.M. - ask 19 15/16

Got this info. from the new quote.com service provided from our friends here at SI.

BTW, a couple of people have posted a few blurbs regarding the January issue of PCWorld. I have a friend who is well connected at PCMagazine, you know the one where Creative just took top honors for both SoundCard and Speakers in their January issue, and he tells me that PCWorld is regarded as their chief competition and it is very well received by the PC community. So, I plunked down the $7.00 for the hard copy of the magazine and it was well worth it.

Obviously, the article regarding DVD is fantastic for Creative, but it doesn't end there. They did a special article on the top 20 PCs. The number one machine, which was a Dell, includes the AWE64 SoundCard and the writer made special mention of the Creative Soundblaster card's inclusion. Indeed, according to their list, 11 of the 20 best machines on the market today either have a Soundblaster or Ensoniq device. Finally, Creative also paid to include their impressive eight (8) page glossy advertisement. All of the above should help revenues for the 3rd Q.
