skeeter-- i hate merrill almost as much as i hate fido. i have more clients at fido and the commisions are outrageous. last year one of them could have purchased a mercedes with the commissions he paid to fido. i am thinking of starting an exchange. i want to cut out the brokerages. i hate people that get something for nothing. i got into an argument with someone over market makers and their usefulness. the basic gist? on an electronic trading system...they are not needed. good luck to all, trey
