BigKNY3,

Welcome also, I have always appreciated your even-handed analysis of Vivus, despite being the the resident AOL PFE bull. I think we have always thought the same way about the relative use of Viagra and MUSE. I think that, sooner or later, The Street will get the message that MUSE is not going away because of Viagra. We will then be rewarded, so long as VVUS management proves better at producing and marketing product than they are at handling conference calls.

Agree on the % comment. I like to say that a one-foot tree, growing at one foot a year grows 50% the first year, 33% the second, 25% the third, etc. I think the best thing to watch on small companies is the price/sales ratio. So long as that is improving, you just have to maintain margins and you have a winner.

Also agree that the mid-teens will signal the breakout, and am prepared for that to perhaps not occur until April.

The captain has not turned off the "Fasten Seatbelt" sign yet.

BigKNY3, as a lover of mathematics I thought you would be particularly able to congratulate me, < GG> , for my buy this AM.
Comapred to my last position in Vivus ( Sept 97) before the big sell-off,
I now have 20% more shares, at half the price, in my IRA.Just love it.

Of course, kidding aside, averybody on this thread who has been able to see through the mist and fog and either held their shares or added to their position should be congratulated.I think a year from now we'll alll be sporting broad smiles.

When you hear of 250 jobs in Ireland, remember that last Jan, at the start, Vivus had only ?47 employees!!! Now they have a new plant and another one in Ireland.Soon new plants in South America , China , etc. They will not be able to sell Muse for $19/supp in China!!! so they need to bring their costs down by utilizing cheap local labor.
I would like to suggest to Vivus that they consider Malaysia and Thailand!! gg.

I cannot guarantee that in the next 9 trading days of 97 Vivus will not go down to 11, 10?, heaven forbid 9 or 8!!! gg, as our well-heeled
short-brothers do their fun and games thing.Personally I am looking forward to it because it will allow me to furhter add and accummulate
stock. This will be the best buy. Hopefully double your IRA
in 12 months or less.

I want to take this opportunity also Big KNY3 to thank all our short-brothers ( and sisters), such as , Leo Francis, Bradpalm 1,
Myron, and so many more, who have caused the drop of Vivus
down to these " truly affordable levels!!!". Of course I am sorry tha tsome people got hurt, in my particular that Cacaito had to get out of Margin.I am sorry. However one thing going for you Cacaito is that you are young and you'll make it up.
