Talk about a lack of critical thinking. The FBI goes to great lengths to infiltrate and even entrap a handful of homeless people, but turns a blind eye to a compound of hundreds more or less openly training for terror attacks?

Right. Podunk county cops "investigated". Of course, there was at least enough credible suggestion to trigger the "investigation." “We haven’t had a lot of crime out there. They have not been unfriendly or rude in any way. They do want their privacy. It is a concern. We’re monitoring them, and I believe they’re monitored federally, although I don’t know that for sure because they’re not going to tell you." So, the sheriff says they're not rude or unfriendly. Case closed. As a practical matter, I would assume they have every right to plan their next attack from within the United States. As long as they don't tell anyone.
