Thursday December 18, 8:01 am Eastern Time Agco sets $150 mln stock buyback ATLANTA, Dec 18 (Reuters) - AGCO Corp said Thursday its board had authorized a buyback of up to $150 million of its outstanding common stock. ''Our board of directors is confident in the future growth prospects of AGCO,'' Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Robert Ratliff said. The purchases will be made through open market transactions, and the timing and actual number of shares purchased will depend on a variety of factors such as price and other market conditions, the agricultural equipment maker said in a news release. ''Based on the current market value of AGCO stock, repurchasing shares is an excellent investment,'' Ratliff said. ''This share repurchase will not impact our ability to take advantage of acquisition opportunities which may arise in the near future.''

Reverse Ascending Triangle... >>>Looks like we do have the beginnings of an ascending right triangle -- a lower high and higher low -- but too early to know though...but if it plays out, i'd look for it to settle around 6 3/4 - 7 and then give at least a 1/2 a point move...that's about the move we've seen the last two times such formations have happened with APCO. If it remains in an an ascending formation that would be especially bullish, I'd think--In general more buyers than sellers, right?<<< *********************************************************** Dave: Drawing a horizontal trendline in the 5 5/8 area, and drawing a trendline connecting the price peaks in the past few months looks something like this... / / / / / / / / / _______________________ This looks Bullish to me, as the Apex is behind us...
