Are you talking in US$ or CDN$ ? Every time I look at the #'s for SSPIF, I forget to look at the currency....

Thanks for your comments...

I too have invested in this company since late 94 early 95. I have a vaugue recollection of previous 1997 press releases from the company or perhaps it could have been an individual's post on a board that revenue from new TI Technology will not be dropping to the bottem line during the first quarter but certainly by the 3rd and 4th quarters of their fiscal 1998. Personally, I do not anticipate favorable comparison numbers for the first quarter. I would think that at some point we saw some research and developmen costs showing up on the balance sheet. The bulk of the revenues of the TI tecnology should come later in their fiscal year and thus fiscal 1997 numbers could be compared to the total 1998 numbers. In other words, a year away barring some unknown development being announced in the interim. The margins for the sales will be important to me. The 100 million in sales. Was it by the year 2000 or in the year 2000?

It is extremely difficult getting information about Spectrum. They may have had a paper or two written about them in the past but I don't recall current investor PR coming from any source for some time. To their credit, they do a good job with technical public relations releases when they win an award or develope a new application. I'm still hoping for 9 to 12 within a year for a share price. It's purely a guess. I'm not a pro.
