If I pray to Jesus will she make the price of Viagra go down? Will her make that car not rear-end my sister? Will she win this hockey game I have money on? Well??? What will her do??

Maybe I should pray to Zarathustra? Have you noticed any difference in results!? ;-) ;-)

"Actually we have a bunch of archeological evidence that supports the Biblical narrative."

The "biblical narrative" is supported as a narrative of some allied hill tribes who were snipping their prepuces to identify one another as they engaged in the normal primitive practices of genocide--and all the rest.

Reminds one of modern day evolved Christianity as practiced by the Koranic faithful following the LAST and FINAL Revelation of God (nice touch for MORONS!!). Just get in line Greg or ee and Brumstone!!

One easily reads thru to your belief in the fairytale that all things theologically & philosophically good & divine came from only Judeo/Christian sources. Sorry to burst your 'Persian Sassanian theory' bubble, even the Jews today know/admit they borrowed cosmolgical/theological concepts heavily from them, angels & messiahs & day of judgement/afterlife just to start.

I have already linked you to the Jewish encyclopedia on this,no myths here.

Its a Greco/Roman world: You also do realize you are just towing the Roman Catholic historical revisionist party line ? That is in perfect keeping (& proving my theisis #9) that you are living in a Greco/Roman world & naturally would espouse that mindset. The Greeks followed by the Romans who imitated them in these matters, both thought that they were the penultimate thinkers for their time just as you. There is not a question of whether there were pagan influences on Christianity, that story is a total given.

You are only towing the Greco/Roman pov here exactly as we would have seen it 2000yrs ago when Rome thought itself the light of the world & Romans considered themselves supreme in valor & virtue. You honor yourself too much but are not sharp enough to see it is still a Greco/Roman world from the Art, Philosophy, Scientific & even religious pov. (in the west)

The Greeks before them were absolutely known for their scorn of the Persians, i find it humorous that you daily act so much like one of them. Show me where you pattern yourself after Moses, the Essenes or the Jewish prophets prideful Roman? You see the illusion you live in?

Actually we have a bunch of archeological evidence that supports the Biblical narrative. ...Not to burst your bubble again, there is hardly anything they have found to corroborate any/most of them. Especially the most glaring stories patterned after ME Babylonian foundation & origin myths, made up post exile Genesis ---Joshua. No modern scholars now, reivisonist or otherwise thinks these materials are anything other than myths.

(even 'Genesis' once again is a Greek word/concept that has to be employed here, you should look it up)
