i.e. they were briefly ahead of the rich. A few became rich.

with the advent of the NWO economic cashless IT society, the elite can "reach out and crush" someone at any time. People aren't a bother unless they control a country like Noriega, Saddam,Chavez, Gadaffi, et. al. and have the cojones to middle finger wall st.
