Jane, "based on data made available by the World Health Organization, the American Academy of Pediatrics, independent market studies commissioned by the company and business proposals from potential marketing partners." Any NUMBER? Any TITLE, REFERENCE, DATE, anything I can use to find the original source? "Based on" means nothing unless you know the method of calculation. Please, compare: I posted part of the scientific paper with NUMBERS. I posted COMPLETE TITLE, AUTHORS, JOURNAL, DATE, PAGES. What happend next? Wade immediately questioned their METHOD of estimation. Very reasonable, is not it? At least I think so. I am not sure does Wade like their methods now or not, but that's the only way to discuss (as far as I know). Surprisingly, NO ONE wants to ask CCSI about the same information. Jane, I think we can agree now that CCSI said NOTHING about their way of estimation, however they pretended to. SpectrX did not describe it either. Because any management should express extreme optimism, I would rather believe to the lowest estimation. There is an additional problem. I have already discussed management's innovative approach in medicine ("bilirubin is a disease" and so on). Are you sure their knowledge in med. statistics is much better? "Also, there is no point to discuss the potential dollar amounts until an agreement is signed. As was stated previously, different companies negotiate in different ways. There is no way we can know how the specifics will work out and it would be meaningless to try to guess." Should I conclude that you do not need and have no any estimation? Best wishes.
