EDITED--Sell signal triggered on the S&P futures about 5 minutes ago -- am now short the March futures

EDIT--addendum:

The theoretical OEX Jan 460 naked put would have been closed at a 1 1/2 point loss and we would now have a naked call position open -- the Jan 455 at a price of 14 1/4.

Again this is purely theoretical -- I did not do the OEX trade though I may sell naked calls later this morning.

Tom:

Thanks for the post. Much clearer. Sorry, but the terminology is strange to me yet. I will be studying the chapter on naked calls in Murphy, which I had already read - but it apparently did not sink in - today.
