Still way too much uncertainty in the SGI air...

Consider this for openers: SGI's NT product is hitting the market 2 1/2 years late.
And will it or won't it cannibalize existing UNIX product line? Microsoft graphics collaboration won't effect bottom-line for quite some time, and with what significance? CEO search lingers. Down-sizing costs are in the works. Not to mention the tech sector overall is getting clobbered.

It's enough to make even the staunchest SGI supporters scratch their heads. <imho> This cat will regain its pulse with a positive earnings announcement (or two) PERIOD. Otherwise, its road pizza!

Waiting it out,

Mathon

<<With all the "positive" news, SGI still slides down>>

With a couple of more anouncements like this one, maybe we can break into single digits. I think it might me time to dump super speculative issues like SGI and go to quality stocks like AOL, YHOO, and AMZN. At a PSR of .7, this puppy is way overvalued.

Some day I hope to see logic and rational return to the market, but for now, just do the opposite of what is reasonable and reap the financial rewards.
