I would have to say no to your question. I think it's the entire negative market sentiment that's doing the trick. Korea is in a worst shape than the US was in during the great depression. Add to that the incompetent government in Japan (they tightend liquidity the last two day, can you believe that.) And if you factor in Malysia and other surrounding Asian coutries and you have a recipe for global concern and uncertainty.

Japan is really botching up operation, in my opinion. Instead of making capital cheaper and easy to access, they are doing the opposite. Oh, did I mention the consumption tax, if the economy was booming that would make sense, however....

Nothing like the US government, takeing quick measure when it has too, i.e. early 90's
