RT--

OK, I'll give it a try. It's no fun being called a liar
over and over again for no good reason. And, unlike all
the "pseudonyms" here I use my REAL NAME, and give my
geographic location. I do research for a living, and
have not been unsuccessful at it.

However: I don't want any more malicious and defamatory
posts addressed to me, and, if I receive more, I'll forward
them to the SI webmistress and ask for her assistance.

If anyone is the least bit interested in understanding where
I'm coming from ....

My goal with the VVUS shares in my taxable account is to
hold them for at least 18 months so that when they're sold,
the LT cap gains rate will be only 10% (the low rate is
because I'm moving to HI to be a beach bum for a few years).

I've listened to the entire CC twice already, and spent many
hours searching the internet for info on ED treatments,
alprostadil, and Muse. My stake in Vivus is larger than any
of my other stock positions, with almost all my investments
in mutual funds. I believe that Vivus has excellent mgmt,
and an excellent product, and the stock is now (@12-13)
still extremely undervalued. My only regret over the past
week is that I didn't pick up more shares below 12, but
I'm unwilling to sell any mutual funds or go on margin to
increase my current VVUS position.

As far as some of the posters go here who are concerned
about the "bad news" 25% revenue shortfall for Q4 as a
harbinger of VIV-X. They need to remember that small
companies with high growth rates NEVER grow and expand
without some stumbles. Vivus would *not* be opening a
factory in Ireland just so they can boost the stock
price and then dump all the insider shares on the market,
as some of the short-attack sceptics might assume.

Cheers, David
