My reference was to private sector unions; public sector unions encourage hiring at taxpayer expense and there is no safeguard to prevent it.
Ah, so we must have a 'safeguard" to prevent unions from succeeding to increase wages and benefits above that which is sustainable.

Do you believe the same for CEO's that make ten's of millions per year?

.....this article by liberal clown professor Gordon Lafer, often referenced by Union leftists, was written shortly before Indiana passed its Right To Work law in Feb 2012. Lafer claims it will result in a Pay Cut, false promises of job creation and the destruction of private sector unions. ALL THREE PREDICTIONS TURNED OUT COMPLETELY FALSE....... FIRST Manufacturing Jobs in Hoosier State Are up By 8.9% Since March 2012.....by 3.6% in Right to Work states as a group, and by just 0.8% in forced-unionism states as a
group. SECOND.....In a little less than 3 years, weekly earnings per private sector worker in Indiana have risen by 9.7% or 7.2% after adjusting for inflation as measured by the BLS urban (CPI-U). This increase is more than double the real increase of 3.3% for comparable employees nationwide over the same period. THIRD, union membership in Indiana has not plummeted and is now at 10.7% from 11.3% before the law was passed. In fact it has been increasing slowly lately.
Gains in Michigan have been smaller but that law only took effect in March 2013. Still, gains have out paced national trends. I expect similar results in Wisconsin over time.

What 'Right to Work' Means for Indiana's Workers: A Pay Cut
Not content with their successful assaults on public workers, Republicans are set on destroying private sector unions, pushing “right to work” laws with false promises of job creation.
