Evidently the rumors I told you all about, that are circulating around the brokerage houses, are really getting around now. These rumors indicate that Iomega will miss their numbers, and that Zip sales have peaked. Numerous Street rumors about IOM have been accurate in the past, the last one being that Zip was having production problems during the Summer.

The Jaz2 delay was already factored in before today. It is basically a non-event, as it is not expected to be a big hit in the market anyway. There is just too much competition in the high-end now, and the $650-$750 external price is just outrageous in these times of $199 1 Gig drives like SparQ. I warned of a price drop like today's, and expect this action to continue.

This may just be an effort to drive the price down today and tomorrow so the pre-split shares can be picked up for a song.... knowing that the post-split will soar and the leverage effect will double the profit.

Also look at the number of DEC PUTS in the money right now... there are almost no DEC CALLS in the money... 13,620 vs 233 contracts

Truff, or ANY chartmeister out there.

If we close anywhere near where the stock is now (24.25 at 3:42pm) will we be looking at a head & shoulders formation?

I sure hope not, but it looks like we are headed that way to me.

Please tell me I'm wrong!
