Sonki I'll circle that date on my calender. Provided that is that Intel sends me a new Official calander for 1998. Last years was a gass with hi reloultion picture of those guys in the colored space suits doing the funky-funky. I's a collectors Item. Igot it hanging on the wall right next to my pentium system and next to my Intel stock cerficate. I understand that for this years calender Intel has hired. MC Hammer or just Hammer and they plan to plan a campaign to hammer AMD and Cyrix/nsm. Hammer wrote some new rap intitled "Get the full load Down. And Hammer is teaching Grove how to Dance to it. The CD will be handed out to employees in lue of this years Christmas Bonus but as a stockholder I'm cool with that. But no where near Hammer. Got to buzz. Busier than a hive of bees this time of year. Ta! Ta!

Sonki,

mY SOURCES tell me Merced is on schedule.

Unless Intel wants to crash its own stock, you should be informed in such an answer.

The truth is that Intel could help HP speed up the completion of Merced. However, Intel has no control over the actual completion date on Merced which was put under the mercy of HP team.

Once, Merced could not debut bug-free during 1998. INTC should fall below its book value then.
