Shrini, When I began to post in the Amati thread (Jan 95) it was because I had been looking for an emerging technology that would change the world, and have an effect on most of the worlds population for 15 years. Thanks to the NET, and at the same time finally some spare change to throw into the market, my quest had a 2 a two stage booster shot. I soon turned to using the Net, as I had used CIS since 1981 doing research. I was also compiling a nice bookmark list built up quite a nice Bookmark List, though at this point it needs much more management than compiling at this point. Amati led me further into the Telco, ISP, Networking. Having a good foundation in high tech after spending 12 years working on state-of-the-art Flight Simulators, 20 40 & $60 million dollar Video Games with full 6 Degree Freedom of Motion Systems, - Emerging Technologies, ADSL & Networking were a quick study. What other job could I say " Please excuse me, I must go, my toy is broke and I have to repair it. Never forget the saying " the only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys", Ask any Jet Jock or Apache Pilot! Back to the main point ! I've had a lot of fun in DSL in two years and it's thanks to people Shrini and many many others attitudes that I stay and continue to share valuable information. The Talking heads made that hard from time to time, and we prevailed in keeping a tight group of people together and not letting the bad guys win. Hi-Yo Silver, Away! Tells you about what camaraderie and trust in a faceless society can do. You've added your share of information and well deserve the respect others give you, I included. We all know somethings others don't and where no question is dumb. Four eyes are better than two, and hundreds of eyes can gather tons of valuable information and place it in a consentrated place, and have fun doing it, 30,000 post under Amati proves the point.
