the coconut (10.5), rationed to only 30 minutes of iPad playtime per week, has just placed in 97 percentile in the standardised ISEE exam amongst those one year her senior

she breezed through at half the allowed time including checking her work twice

she at least by testing has gone way beyond me

in the mean time the fat jack (4.5) continues to like lego, and for a short time figured out how to skip school, by simply locking himself in his room until 10:00am when it is too late to attend the half day. he is now again good, learning to read and write w/ tutors and playing in 'school'

watch & brief, jack is fun, determined, and has a knack to socialise as well as to do on own - all important

Hi elmat I am in the Azores now. This is the first time I've been in a euro country when things were cheaper than the United States. It's bad news because my wife is buying a lot of clothes. On a more serious note there is a giant deflationary wave heading across the Atlantic to the good old USA
