> Apple is getting to be a pain in the ass

I just went to the Apple store curious about the lineup. Click on the Mac section... it seems all they sell is the new mac book!

Oh... after you scroll... scroll... scroll WAY down there is a link to MacBooks... click...

Scrolling through the macbooks... scroll...

Oh there are the desktop computers! I should have known the way to find them was to scroll... click on the macbook link... then scroll to the bottom of that page.

Really a textbook example of TERRIBLE web design.

A couple of days ago I was trying to find out where to buy system software. I gave up. Isn't that how Microsoft used to be? You just give up. Because Microsoft upgrades were all about what was good for Microsoft, not what was good for Microsoft users. That was the Microsoft culture... screw them, they have no choice... if they can't figure it out its their fault for not being like us, geeks... we control their computers...
It seems to me increasingly Apple's culture.

Apple apologizes after widespread service outage

"We apologize to our customers experiencing problems with iTunes and other services this morning.
The cause was an internal DNS error at Apple. We're working to make all of the services available to
customers as soon as possible, and we thank everyone for their patience," Apple said in a statement to
CNBC.
