Everything working fine here.

Apple's iTunes, App Stores back online after unusually long outage

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Apple Inc's iTunes and App Store came back online on Wednesday afternoon
after an unusually long service disruption that the company blamed on an internal technical error.

The rare 12-hour outage began a little before 5:00 am ET, after which users took to Twitter to vent their
frustration at being unable to access the popular mobile apps store and online content service, using hashtags
such as #itunesdown and #appstoresdown.

Apple updated its status page at 5:04 pm ET to show that the disrupted services, including the Mac App Store
and iBooks, were now functioning normally. The company attributed the outage to an internal Domain Name
System error.

I'm considering buying a new music player for a possible long car trip I might be taking. Love driving and listening to music.

I was looking at the iPods...

Neil Young on TV tonight pushing his Pono player. Love the Neil. Seriously considering it. Its cross platform, plays flacs. Like that idea. Its a little clunky for carrying around but in a car might be better. The kicker might be the ability to add a 128GB MicroSD card. That would total 178GB. $399.

I have a lot of Duke Ellington music.

For a moment I thought maybe I can get a iPod Classic... Sheech what a boneheaded decision it was to get rid of that. They are going for $400-700 for new ones on eBay.

Touch only goes up to 64GB. $299... I don't know if I want to get locked into a machine that might be force obsoleted.

We'll see.

I wouldn't think of competing with Doren for Chief Grumbler! He's the King, I'm a mere pretender to the crown.

But being a court jester/whiner isn't a bad life.
