Perhaps we won't ever see a sustained period like 1947-66 or 1982-99 again in our lifetimes where it worked well for a sustained period for the honest hard working middle class? I am really shocked how unaffordable RE has become again in a lot of places and yet this rarely gets discussed like it was in 2005-06.. Amazing how so called bleeding heart liberals looking out for the little guy seem to have such a cavalier attitude on this. Perhaps i we gave Eric Gardner 200k a year job for selling cigarettes on the streets of NYC he could have afforded to raise his family of six kids and lived..
