Donnie, baby.

You're sounding a little bummed out. But by all means, take a little time out. Always a good thing. I'm just playing the short term trend. My goal is a G a day. Courtesy of dell its been more like 5, but that is more of my system on TradeStation than anything. Like buying when I would normally sell and selling when I would be buying. Check the use of BollingerBands (+- 2 Standard Deviations) combined with an RSI optimized for Dell on a 1 minute chart.

Don't get too discouraged. We are in a mini bear market. I'll bet most people in the market today don't even know what a bear market feels like. Anyway look at the market page of IBD. The nasdaq composite is rolling over. Lower lows beneath lower highs.

Look at the New high/new low list. Computers (28 companies making new lows) is #1 on the list. I love tech but its not the place to be short term.

Flatten out your positions, get away from the market for awhile, and come back with a fresh perspective next year.

as always,
bon chance.

Jim
