Problem with this is that if true, it suggests a relaxed attitude toward encryption in the first place, which likely means other basic security measures were ignored at times.

Who knows what damage has been done? But it is dangerous, whether or not critical data were actually exposed. And it certainly reflects a terrible lack of judgment.

Keeping in mind that WHILE THIS WAS GOING ON we had various important figures in government going around talking about how great the threat from cyber is. Was she just not listening or not caring or what?
