..the problem of course is the contingent of idiots dedicated to wrecking that covenant

Thru misguided attempts to force bad fiscal policy, or simply establishing their incompetent minions at the actual controls of the levers of government, the only threat to the "faith & credit" of the US is the Republican party and the self serving pigs that run it from the shadows

Sensibly, less rabid people are inclined to opt for a currency which is not dependent on the mania of such people as you and them.
