You give me too much credit. My point was really very simple. Whatever you think the odds were at the start of the year that AOL would succeed -- and you might believe as many people on this thread do that they are microscopic -- it's always a good idea as events unfold to assess whether those odds could be improving. Of course, that really doesn't apply to people like you and Brent, who already know that AOL will earn nothing or next to nothing over the next five years no matter what deals they sign, or what mistakes their competitors make, or what I eat for breakfast. It was silly of me to think I could tell guys like you anything you don't already know.
