I do think people who complain about "our horrible spending on the Medicare and Social Security Entitlement Programs", which soon make up 2/3 of Federal spending, while asserting their right and entitlement to continue collecting from these same Entitlement Programs are mentally incontinent idiots. If you think otherwise, you're welcome to your views, but they're not logical. Rejecting their belief in mathematics is one of the biggest mistakes Republicans made when they canonized Reagan. You have to make a simple choice: 1.) Spending tax money on these Entitlement Programs is correct and you're entitled to the benefits they provide you; 2.) Spending tax money on these Entitlement Programs is the beast and has to stop and you're not entitled to any of the benefits "the beast" provides you through these programs. You've met the offending welfare parasite, and it's you yourself.

There was a thing about morons I learned as a child: "Happy little moron, sitting in the sun. Doesn't know he's moron. My God, perhaps I'm one." You might like to reflect on that. Meanwhile, it's quite sensible to complain about the overall destruction caused by something while continuing to do it yourself. It's called the tragedy of the commons. Ask Google. For example Al Gore moans about CO2 emissions while producing big heaps of it himself. So do other Global Doomsters. People call them hypocrites. In that case, they are, because if they really believed what they say, they would not destroy the world for fun just because other people are doing it. Receiving welfare while complaining about minimum wage laws and welfare and tax is quite sensible and not hypocritical. There is no externality to Big Government other than fleeing the country, if one is able to do so, which is not so easily done. When one owns something, it's unreasonable to expect that it be abandoned instead of fixed. So one is stuck within it. But that doesn't mean people shouldn't complain about being imprisoned in it.
