Sue, you're right about seeing the spectrum clearer from the sidelines, but I never make money on the sidelines either! ;o)

In hindsight, when I was long CSCO, I wish I would have sold my shares at the beginning of the year before CSCO fell from 80. I held out because I had the attitude that most of these longs on this thread have -- I thought CSCO couldn't fall. Unfortunately, CSCO did fall, just like it did 3 years ago.
